OMOC Ordering Guidelines

There are currently four methods of payment. Credit card payments may be introduced in the future but are currently unavailable. All prices are in UK Pounds Stirling. Preferred payments are by UK Cheque, International Money Order or by Cash.

UK £ Cheque Payment by UK Cheque in pound Stirling is preferred. Please make sure you sign the cheque and write your name and email on the reverse side. Make payable to Opel Manta Owners Club UKor just OMOC UK International MoneyOrder International Money Orders are also accepted in pound Stirling. Make payable to Opel Manta Owners Club UK Cash (£ Pounds Stirling) You can send cash payments as this may be cheaper for small orders. However there is of course a risk associated and unless we receive it we can't send you the order. Send it well disguised as we have to date not had one go missing. US Dollar $ Cheque Those in the USA can send US Dollar payments by personal cheque. Make payable to Opel Manta Owners Club UK When ordering you will need to calculate the dollar total yourself from the Stirling and confirm the total you are sending. You can do the conversion at The Universal Currency Converter. We rely and trust the conversion to you but if it is incorrect your order will not be shipped.

Postage & Packing Guidelines

United Kingdom Charges At present, the postage and packing charges of all items bought within the United Kingdom are included in the total price. Orders over £50 in value may be sent recorded delivery. If you require this service, please state at the time of ordering and add £5.00 to the total cost of your purchase. Please note : Rally Jackets are always sent recorded delivery due to their high value. Please do not add £5.00 to the order cost for these items USA & Rest Of World Postage Any bought outside of the United Kingdom will be subject to the following charges : First 3 items - £2.00 each Each item thereafter - £1.50 each For Example The following order of 4 items to be sent to the United States : 1 x OMOC Mug = £3.75 (+ £2.00 Postage) 1 x Grille Badge = £8.50 (+ £2.00 Postage) 1 x Key Fob = £1.50 (+ £2.00 Postage) 1 x Ballpen = £2.50 (+£1.50 Postage) Individual Cost = £16.25 + £7.50 Postage TOTAL = £23.75

Once we have received payment we will put your order in the post. The Mantashop is far from being a fully fledged ecommerce website so we appreciate your patience whilst we aim to get these products to you as soon as we possibly can. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery. We try to get our orders processed as quickly as possible but we do have ordinary jobs to do, sometimes things can be delayed. Please be patient - if you think something has gone missing, please get in touch to confirm your order. We will try our best to give you an approximate date of dispatch. The Mantashop is a purely voluntary part of the Opel Manta Owners Club UK. Please remember...we get no wages for this !!!

1. I'd like to buy some Manta Goodies, How do I do it ? A. Choose the items that you would like. Print off an order form and send it to the address shown remembering to include your cheque and your own address ! For a full explanaton, please read the Ordering Guidelines 2. If I order the mug, how do you intend to send it so that it reaches me safely ? A. All breakables are sent suitably packed. The mugs are sent in special Polysyrene holders. 3. What about orders of a high value, are they insured ? A. Any order over the value of £50 can be sent via registered mail. Please arrange beforehand. 4. I posted my cheque two weeks ago but still haven't received my order. What should I do ? A. Do nothing. When placing your orders we ask that you allow at least 28 days for delivery from the time when you send payment. If you still haven't received your goods after 28 days (in most cases you will have) then contact order@mantashop.fsnet.co.uk. Compared to some other online stores 28 days for delivery may seem like a long time but please remember that the Mantashop is a somewhat smaller operation than some other full-time online stores, and that everyone behind the scenes (ie Me), has a day job which can sometimes interfere with our ability to handle your orders as swiftly as we (and you) would like. 5. Have you got any Vitesse Manta Models for sale ? A. The turnover of the Vitesse series of 1:43 scale models is quite high as they are very collectable. As and when I see any at a reasonable price, I usually buy them up and offer them for sale to the club. I'll try to post something onto the website to let you know when new stock arrives - although as prices have risen considerably over the last 12 months, we have been less able to get hold of new models. If interested, please use the email link to drop me a line and ask what is available. 6. Do you have anything else for sale, other than what is listed here? A. The Mantashop Website only lists the most popular items for sale. There are several other goodies that are not listed. We have got a supply of Decals, which I hope to get scanned and put onto a separate web page soon. We also have other various odds and ends, Rally Plaques, pencils, badges etc. Please email me with your requirements.
